SAVE deadline if your servicer is Aidvantage

When your deadline hits, what happens if you don’t choose, and how to switch without calling.

What we know about Aidvantage

  • Aidvantage has been notifying its SAVE borrowers since July 1, 2026, giving them about 90 days to pick a plan. If you don’t choose, you’re generally placed on a standard plan.1
  • Its official site confirms SAVE ended on March 10, 2026, and that both new plans are available: Tiered Standard and RAP.2
  • While you stay in the SAVE forbearance, interest has accrued since August 1, 2025, and those months don’t count toward forgiveness.1 More on the forbearance.
  • Aidvantage phone: 1-800-722-1300. Your exact date is on your notice and in your aidvantage.studentaid.gov account.1
